Privacy-first by design. Journeo stores all your journal entries and mood data locally on your device. We have no server that stores your personal content.
By default, the App stores the content you create locally on your device. This includes:
We may collect non-identifiable technical data to help diagnose crashes and improve the App. This data may include device model, OS version, and anonymous usage metrics. We will not collect personal journal content as part of diagnostics unless you explicitly opt in to a crash report that includes user content.
If you choose to enable optional features that integrate with third parties (for example cloud sync, backups, analytics, or advertising), those services may collect or process data according to their own policies. We will present an explicit opt-in flow before enabling any such service.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise share your personal journal entries or mood logs with third parties. The only circumstances where information might be shared are:
We may use advertising IDs to display ads and measure ad performance via third-party ad services (for example, Google AdMob). These IDs are used only for advertising purposes and are not linked to your personal journal content.
Local storage by default. All journal data is stored on your device. We have no access to your personal entries.
If you opt into cloud backup or synchronization, your data will be transmitted to the selected provider and retained according to that provider's policies. We do not access or view your personal entries when you use a third-party backup provider.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data under our control. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We recommend enabling device-level security (PIN, passcode, biometric) and using Journeo's built-in App Lock feature to protect access.
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will remove the information promptly.
The App may include links to third-party websites, services, or SDKs. These third parties have their own privacy policies; we encourage you to review them before providing any data.
If you enable cloud features that transmit data to servers outside your country, your data may be transferred across international borders. Where applicable, we will seek to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here with a revised effective date. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically.
If you have questions or requests regarding this Privacy Policy, please reach out — we aim to respond within 48 hours.
Reach out anytime regarding your data or this policy.
